BFFs Make You Better
While being an adult means you pay for your own phone bill and do (responsible-ish) grocery shopping, it also means you get to choose your friends. You're not in high school anymore, not only can you sit with whomever you'd like, you have far more than your graduating class to choose your friends from. Like, a whole entire world full.
So hang out with the people you like, the people who are easy to be around, the people who make you feel good about you, the people who are kind, the people who challenge you to be the best version of yourself.
Because it's been said (and we've found it to be true, too) that you become like the five people you spend the most time with - from the little things like favorite tv shows to big things like the way you treat yourself and others. Do you like what you see in the five people you spend the most time with? Do you even like the five people you spend the most time with?
Be protective of who you are and who you want to be: hang out with the people who look like your future, not your past.
