Welcome to The New Bumble HQ

Howdy, y’all! Welcome to Texas!

Last week Bumble officially opened our new headquarters in Austin, TX. We invited local, national, and international media from the UK, Germany, Australia, and France. Throughout their time in Austin, we wanted our guests to get the real Texas experience.

In addition to learning more about the team and Bumble, our guests were treated to organized yoga at Zilker Park, paddle boarding on the Colorado River, a night on the town at Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar, and of course, Texas BBQ from Salt Lick.

The main event however, was the office launch party! Bumble’s core mission and values were considered and integrated into every single detail of our office.

Glowing signs with empowering slogans like “Bee Kind” and “Make the First Move” on the walls, light switches reminding employees to “Shine Bright Like a Diamond”, and a glam room perfect for new moms to pump or a team member to get ready for a Bumble date - our entire space encourages creativity, empowerment, and collaborative behavior.

Guests arrived in our “Howdy Y’all” trucks and “Let’s Get Ready to Bumble” bus to an office covered with cascading balloons by Botanical No.9. We intentionally worked with vendors founded by people who align with our values.

The owners of these companies all boldly made the first move and switched career paths, or changed their lifestyle to pursue their passion. Now they’re some of the most respected, sought after trailblazers in Austin!

With a menu featuring sushi from Uchi, Kimchi fries from Chi’lantro, Peached Tortilla’s doughnut milkshakes, brisket and watermelon from Mum Foods, Enoteca Vespaio’s raspberry tart, tacos from La Pera, and healthy vegan bites from Lucky Lime, our guests were definitely well-fed.

Drink Slingers provided custom cocktails for guests to sip on while they toured the office. Our visitors had custom Gypsy Floral flower crowns and boutonnieres designed for them. As dusk fell, they were treated to a surprise pop up performance from a band of true Austin originals: Spoon.

We couldn’t have done all this without our amazing event planners from The Elephant Table and Pen & Prue Productions! Click through our slideshow below for highlights from the trip!

Love,

The BeeHive
