Win a Personalised Bumble Mixtape to Give Your Crush the Ultimate Nostalgic Valentine’s Day Gift

Want to let your match know how you feel about them, but can’t seem to find the words? Let Bumble help you tell them through music by entering our competition to win a Bumble Mixtape to send to your crush.

All you have to do is open the Bumble app, look out for the mixtapes profile and swipe right on it! You’ll then be asked to pick 20 songs you’d like to add to your mixtape so you can give the ultimate throwback this Valentine’s Day.

If you win, you’ll receive a real life cassette tape—but don’t worry, we know you don’t have a boombox in the year 2022! On the tape will be a Spotify Code that your match can scan to take them to their very own private and personalised Spotify playlist.

You’ve got until 5pm AEST on 4th February to enter, so keep an eye out for that profile and start thinking about which songs to choose. Good luck!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE BUMBLE COMPETITION (“OFFICIAL RULES”)

The promoter of this competition is Bumble AU Pty Ltd of Level 10 Waterfront Place, 1 Eagle Street, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia 4000 (“Promoter”). The following terms and conditions apply to the Bumble competition (“Competition”). To the extent that there is any inconsistency between these Official Rules and any other published materials, these Official Rules will prevail.

  1. The Competition will run from 9AM AEST on Friday 28 January 2022 to 5pm AEST on Friday 4 February 2022 inclusive ("Entry Period").

  2. The Competition is open to users of the Bumble mobile application (“Bumble App”) aged 18 years or over who are legal residents of Australia (“Entrants”). Employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Competition shall not be allowed to participate in the Competition.

  3. To participate, Entrants must match with the Competition card within the Bumble App by swiping the card right. The Entrants will then be taken to an online form, which the entrants must complete and provide all necessary details (“Submission”). Entrants may not submit more than one Submission for the Competition. Entrants must also provide their name, email address and delivery address in the Submission. Failure to provide accurate and complete information in the Submission will render the entry invalid. The Submissions must not include any defamatory, offensive or unlawful content. Submissions submitted in any other way, including by email or hard copy, and after the Entry Period ends will not be accepted. The Promoter may, at any time, verify the validity of entries and Entrant’s details. If there is a dispute as to who the Entrant is, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, determine the Entrant’s identity.

  4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incorrectly uploaded Submissions or those that are illegible, corrupted, not successfully completed or processed for any reason. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be considered. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.

  5. The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

  6. The Competition is a game of skill.

  7. The Submissions will be judged by a panel of three representatives of the Promoter based on the most original answer to the question: Why do you want to win a Bumble Mixtape? The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final. Thirty (30) qualifying Entrants who, in the opinion of the judges, have complied with the judging criteria the most, shall be winners of this Competition (each a “Prize Winner”).

  8. The Winners will win a Bumble Mixtape consisting of a blank cassette with a Spotify Code (similar to a QR code) which will take the winner to a playlist with the songs they have chosen alongside a pair of Bumble branded wireless headphones (“Prize”). Each Prize is valued at AUD$50.

  9. The Winners will be notified by email using the contact details provided in their Submission within two (2) days of the judges’ selection.

  10. The Winners will receive their Prize via Australia Post Express delivery. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winners. If a Winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their Prize within 48 hours of the email notice being sent out, that prize Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the relevant Prize (and will not be entitled to any supplementary prize or benefit).

  11. If any Winner is disqualified, or if a Prize is forfeited or unclaimed, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the entries that were received before the end of the Entry Period.

  12. The Prize is subject to availability and it is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value.

  13. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Competition, including the Promoter’s interpretation of these Official Rules, is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

  14. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Official Rules. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these Official Rules.

  15. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition at its sole discretion.

  16. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The Prize restrictions and conditions set forth herein are not exhaustive and additional restrictions and conditions may apply, and the Promoter makes no representations or warranties (express or implied) concerning the appearance, safety, features, usage, accuracy or performance of any Prize. Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for nor replace any lost, stolen, damaged or malfunctioning element of any Prize. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.

  17. The Prize Winners agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make their Submission available on its website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Competition. The Prize Winners agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the Submission and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store and re-format the Submission and any accompanying materials for such purposes.

  18. The Promoter will process the personal information included in Submissions to administer entries and send the Prizes to Prize Winners. Entrants’ personal information will not be retained by Bumble or any third party except as necessary to administer this Competition. The data controller responsible for Entrants’ personal information is Bumble Holding Limited and the legal basis for this processing is performance of our obligations to Entrants under these competition terms and conditions. For general info about how Bumble protects data, check out our Privacy Policy, which can be found on https://bumble.com/en/privacy.

  19. The Competition is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and all Entrants to the Competition irrevocably agree that the courts located in New South Wales, Australia have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Competition and/or these Official Rules.
