In April, we introduced ten political filters ranging from the top two candidates from major parties to lighthearted options like #PizzaForPresident and #Kanye2020. Why? We recognize a political stance says a lot about a person. We believe being a registered voter and exercising your right to vote is a privilege, and it makes an impact on our country.
While politics can be polarizing, there's one political stance that never will be: political participation. Not only does your voice and your vote matter - it makes a difference.
Yes, you might be disillusioned. You might be disinterested. You might be disheartened. (Or you might just be averse to long lines.) Those aren't excuses not to show up. As Americans, we are asked to participate in the direction of our country, to have a say in what happens, to be part of the future. The fact of the matter is, there's no excuse not to vote.
To us, it doesn't matter whey vote for, it just matters that you vote. If you can celebrate #NationalTequilaDay, you can celebrate #NationalVoterRegistrationDay!
