Since 2009, startups led by black women have raised $289 million in venture and angel funding, with a significant portion of that raised in 2017. This represents just .0006% of the $424.7 billion in total tech venture funding raised since 2009, according to digital demographic study Project Diane.

Fearless Magazine wants to help close that gap. In partnership with Facebook and Spanx, Fearless — led by entrepreneur Arian Simone — is giving away $100,000 to underrepresented female founders leading companies at startup-, seed-, or Series A-level.

The only way to apply to the Fearless Mogul pitch competition is through Bumble Bizz, the professional networking mode within the Bumble app, now through August 30th.

A short list of finalists will pitch their startup ideas at an all-women 'Shark Tank'-style event at the headquarters of shapewear brand Spanx in Atlanta, Ga. this September. Open the app in Bizz mode to apply now, or tell a friend!
