Bumble’s Operation Hometown: Help Us Give Back To Austin

Blog Header-01 (1).png

Austin, Texas is where it all started for Bumble: our hometown, where Whitney Wolfe Herd started the company in 2014, and the location of our headquarters. In the five years since our founding, as we’ve grown from a dating app into a fully-fledged social network, we’ve been lucky and grateful to have the support of our community here in Austin.

We always strive to give back to our city, hosting events year-round under the auspices of our Bumble Bizz professional mode, including networking events and panels aimed at providing opportunities to local entrepreneurs and business owners.

As Bumble continues its worldwide expansion, we hope to bring even more of a spotlight to the incredible talent in this city — as well as financial support. In 2018 alone, we donated almost $1 million to both national and local organizations that align with our mission of empowerment, including OutYouth, the Anti-Defamation League, Central Texas Bank, and Keep Austin Beautiful, helping to enrich the Austin community.

We’re interested in partnering with 501(c)(3) organizations that share our mission and values, namely: accountability, equality, and kindness in an effort to end misogyny and re-write archaic gender roles. (You can read more on that here.)

If this sounds like your organization, please fill out this form. We’ll check submissions twice each quarter.
