Inside Scoop from The NYC Hive
In June 2017, Bumble opened the first physical Bumble Hive in New York City. There were amazing speakers, fun events, and many dynamic people visiting on all four weekends. Our NYC Bees worked so hard to make the event a success, and they couldn't have done it without all of our incredible partners!
We want to take a moment to say thank you for all of your great contributions to the Hive. We appreciate every single one of you!
To all of the partners who provided food and drink to our Hive visitors: You kept us going the whole month. Thank you!
Juice Press had everyone coming back for more during Molly Rose Hoffman's talk about wellness. MatchaBar kept us sweet with their honey-flavored matcha around SoHo as well as in the Hive itself.
Chameleon Cold Brew kept everyone caffeinated. CoCo&Co provided Insta-worthy fresh coconuts to parched people. Health-Ade Kombucha made sure everyone stayed healthy and happy throughout the event. Honeydrop Lemonade added a little sunshine to every visitor's day.
Whispering Angel Rosé kept the party going all of our Sunday Funday on Weekend 1. Tanteo Tequila kept our spirit lovers happy.
Montauk Ale and The Owl's Brew Radler satiated the beer lovers among us. Wine lovers were spoiled for choice: O'Neill Vintners & Distillers treated us to their Day Owl Rose as well as their Austerity, Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, and Arroyo Secco Chardonnay.
The Sauce went above and beyond with their contributions to the Hive: We were treated to amazing wines on Weekends 3 and 4 as well as a special appearance by Tituss Burgess of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for our Pride Party with Chappy! The Sauce also brought Fun Wine Co. wines in for us to try. Finally, they held their launch party: "Rosé. Swipe. Repeat." at the final Sunday of the Hive!
Dream Pops provided their delicious popsicles every Saturday at Hive and hosted pop-ups at Equinox and Lululemon around SoHo.
To all our partners who kept our guests gorgeous during their time at the Hive: Thank you!
Drybar provided fantastic hair touchups for guests and hosted a pop-up at the Hive during weekend one. Glamsquad kept our guests looking fresh with hair and makeup touch-ups; they also hosted pop-ups at the Hive on Weekend 4 and in partnership with The Coveteur during Weekend 2!
DL1961 provided chic denim jackets and a variety of customizable patches for our LoyalBee attendees. (Bumble users can get 30% off their online DL1961 orders with the code BUMBLE30, so visit DL1961 and stock up on amazing sustainable denim!) Supergoop donated sunscreen to keep all our guests sunburn-free throughout the month!
To the partners who kept our guests entertained, cared for, and well-fed: We thank you!Assouline provided stunning coffee table books for our guests to peruse.
Lyft gave our guests beautiful yellow roses with promo codes so they could more easily navigate the city. Postmates was also onsite providing promo coupons - $100 in delivery credits was amazing for all our guests!
We're so happy to have been able to work with so many amazing partners for the first IRL Hive ever. We couldn't have done it without you!
