First in person date after 3 months of talking

We spoke about both of us having high risk people living with us at home and how we needed to be extra careful about not bringing the virus home.

We talked about ALL of it. We are both super careful with all of that stuff

We hung out on her back porch and had a socially-distanced drink.

We hugged for 3 min and that was it. My girlfriend Janell planned it

I couldn't believe how pretty she was. I had seen in her in pictures and on video calls but in person it was another level.

We are alike in many ways but opposite in others. We complement each other well and we balance each other out.

We have alot of similar views and interests. We both are very mature and cooperative and supportive of each other

We made it official on May 7th via Duo. She was shy about asking me at first and then I asked her to say it word for word and then she asked me if I'd be her girlfriend.

I was super awkward about it and it was on May 7th 2020 via video call

I don't think we would be dating now if not for the pandemic because the main reason I created the Bumble account was because I was stuck at home with nothing to do. If there was no pandemic I would have been more focused on going to school full time and in-person. I do however believe that we would have found each other eventually because I really believe we were meant to be together.

I honestly feel as though we were meant to be together and that it would of happened some way or another

It has allowed us to create a stronger emotional bond instead of a physical one and has taught us to communicate more effectively.
