Unpacking Modern Relationships
What does modern romance look like in Singapore? Here, our speakers join together to discuss what can be done to foster meaningful connections and kinder, more equitable relationships in Singapore. The conversation covers traditional gender roles and dynamics within relationships, as well as the desire among young Singaporeans to build meaningful connections amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Michelle has worked in broadcast for over 20 years, and has been a moderator for many discussions during this time. She conceptualised the radio show “Women of Worth” which won a nomination at the Asia Pacific Wide Diageo Women Empowerment Journalism Awards.
- Kelly Leow, Communications Manager, AWARE
Kelly is the communications manager at AWARE, Singapore's leading gender-equality organisation. She also served as an editor for multiple editions of the Singapore International Film Festival, and managed communications and fundraising at transgender organisation The T Project.
- Anita Kapoor, Facilitator, Speaker, Equality Advocate
Anita is a digital, hybrid and stage host and moderator, facilitator and speaker. Anita values dignity, compassion, kindness, emotional and physical safety and healing, and personal freedom, and she holds equity as the cornerstone of aware, inclusive, diverse and emotionally responsible selves and community. Her advocacy work centres on sharing insights and questioning the status quo, and evolving human reasoning, emotional capability and community allyship. This has led to lending support to AWARE, Facebook, Habitat for Humanity, Pink Dot and SOS.

Cindy is currently the Resident Relationship Expert on Mediacorp Class95 FM, and has also been invited by several radio stations and magazines as an expert guest to provide insights into Enneagram, workplace conflicts and relationships.

Lucille is the APAC Communications Director at Bumble, and leads the communications strategy for Bumble across Australia, New Zealand, India, and Southeast Asia.
